Results of the 2026 Intersect Committee Election

The recent Intersect Committee Elections held in April 2026 have concluded, with 102 candidates vying for a total of 37 seats across eight committees. The number of candidates reflected a high level of participation from the membership. Intersect facilitated the election process by hosting X Spaces and Virtual Hub sessions, allowing members to engage directly with candidates to understand their skills, motivations, and dedication to Cardano. These sessions provided valuable insights into why candidates should represent the community in the Committees.
All successful candidates will soon receive onboarding materials to ensure a smooth transition into their roles. It is important to welcome those who have been elected, as well as to express gratitude to those who put themselves forward as candidates and the members who took the time to review candidates and vote. The legitimacy of the election process is upheld by the active engagement and participation of the community.
A total of 187 unique members, representing 24.8% of eligible voters, cast 3,967 ballots during the election. This level of participation demonstrates a community that is actively involved in governance, while also signaling the opportunity for continued expansion of participation in the future.
