A prominent downtown Las Vegas casino is taking its association with digital currency to the next level with a three-day Bitcoin takeover event, as per an official announcement.

Set to take place from April 27-29, Circa hotel-casino aims to align its Bitcoin takeover with the Bitcoin 2026 conference in Las Vegas. The property plans to infuse Bitcoin branding, specialized programming, and cryptocurrency-themed food and beverage offerings throughout the venue. The move is part of Circa’s dedication to maintaining a “crypto-friendly environment” all year round, according to its CEO, Derek Stevens.

Stevens emphasized the casino’s ongoing support for Bitcoin since its inception, highlighting the availability of a Bitcoin ATM on the premises. He expressed the intent behind the Bitcoin takeover event, which is to demonstrate the seamless integration of digital currency into the overall casino-resort experience. The objective is for guests to witness firsthand how Bitcoin enhances various aspects of their stay, from enjoying the bars and amenities to making transactions for a truly exceptional visit.

Furthermore, the event will feature an exclusive “Vegas Bucket List Package” priced at one Bitcoin. This package encompasses a luxurious stay in Circa’s lavish Founder’s Suite, accommodation in 20 premium king rooms, VIP seating at the resort’s sportsbook, and access to a private Stadium Swim party hosted by Stevens himself. Additional highlights include a buyout of Circa’s rooftop lounge, Legacy Club, an exquisite dinner at Barry’s Downtown Prime with acclaimed chef Barry S. Dakake, and a private dining experience at Andiamo Steakhouse at the D Las Vegas helmed by chef Neil Piche, complemented with limo service to and from the airport.

Circa currently accepts Bitcoin at all its bars and operates a round-the-clock Bitcoin ATM on-site. Its sibling properties, The D and Golden Gate, similarly welcome Bitcoin for non-gambling purchases.

While Nevada regulations prohibit the direct use of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin on casino floors, requiring conversion to fiat currency before gambling, the Venetian hotel-casino will host Bitcoin 2026. Notable figures such as U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Paul Atkins and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Mike Selig are slated to address the upcoming conference, building upon the event’s success from the previous year.
