As the Bitcoin Conference 2025 draws near, scheduled for May 27-29th at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Post Wook, a digital artist renowned for her surreal and psychedelic landscapes blending cosmic and natural elements, is preparing to present her latest series, “The Astronomer’s Daughter,” to a wide audience of bitcoin enthusiasts. In a heartfelt homage to her father, a seasoned NASA employee, this distinctive series intricately fuses satellite data and bitcoin block times with seasonal and astronomical cycles like the moon’s phases. Post Wook will unveil this collection at both B25 and the off-site ancillary event, Inscribing Vegas.

I had the opportunity to chat with Post Wook about her newest digital art series, the evolution of immersive art, and the thrill of witnessing her creations showcased on the Sphere in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Sphere has swiftly emerged as the focal point on the bustling Las Vegas Strip. How did it feel to witness your piece, “Everywhere but Inward,” gracing the Sphere for the first time? “Honestly, it felt incredibly surreal! Having toiled on this project for more than a year, I was intimately familiar with the animation sequence, yet seeing it illuminated on the Sphere for the first time was truly awe-inspiring. The Sphere is MASSIVE, and even though you grasp its scale from photos, encountering it in person is a whole different experience. We staked out our viewing spot in Vegas about 15-20 minutes before it lit up on the display schedule, and when it finally emerged, it was mind-blowing! I couldn’t help but applaud – a rare feat for me. The sheer joy of being in that moment was overwhelming. The Sphere stands as one of the planet’s most colossal and advanced immersive platforms, boasting a 16K resolution interior and an exterior LED façade that displays cutting-edge technology.

Post Wook is at the vanguard of digital artists exploring innovative ways to fuse technology, art, and the ethos of the digital age. Her work not only marries scientific data with artistic expression but also navigates uncharted territories in immersive art. The convergence of cryptocurrency and art has unlocked a new realm of creative possibilities, enabling artists like Post Wook to transcend conventional boundaries and pioneer groundbreaking forms of expression. The melding of intricate satellite data with the ephemeral beauty of bitcoin block times in her series “The Astronomer’s Daughter” exemplifies this fusion of art and science, ushering in a new era of collaborative creation.

With her upcoming presentation at the Bitcoin Conference 2025 in Las Vegas, Post Wook aims to captivate audiences with her surreal artistry while inviting viewers to contemplate the intersections between digital currency, art, and the future of expression. The immersive power of her art lies not just in its visual spectacle but in its ability to transport viewers to realms where technology and imagination intertwine seamlessly. Through the lens of her creations, Post Wook pushes the boundaries of conventional artistry and invites us to embark on a journey into the limitless frontier of digital expression.

As we anticipate the unveiling of “The Astronomer’s Daughter” at the Bitcoin Conference 2025 and the subsequent rave reviews from bitcoiners and art enthusiasts alike, Post Wook’s visionary work promises to redefine our perceptions of art, technology, and the boundless possibilities of the digital age.
