Goldman Sachs has emerged as the largest holder of the spot XRP ETF, boasting nearly $154 million in shares, according to data from Bloomberg Intelligence. By the end of 2025, the top 30 shareholders collectively possess approximately $211 million worth of shares. Analyst James Seyffart pointed out that only a small portion of these investors are visible in 13F filings, as most choose not to submit such documents.
According to Eric Balchunas, another analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, the majority of these investments likely stem from XRP “super fans” rather than the typical retail investor. As of the end of the previous year, cumulative inflows into spot XRP ETFs exceeded $1 billion, with total assets under management hitting $1.44 billion as of last week. Some of the issuers of these ETFs include 21Shares, Bitwise Asset Management, and Franklin Templeton.
