Brag House collaborates with Florida Gators Athletics and Learfield’s Florida – Fidelity Investments
Brag House Holdings, Inc. has teamed up with Florida Gators® Athletics and Learfield’s Florida Gators® Sports Properties to present the “Brag Gators® Gauntlet: Football Edition.” This unique event is a single-day Call of Duty: Warzone tournament scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 3:00–7:00 PM EST. The tournament will bring students from the University of Florida and their top rivals together to compete for $4,000 in prizes and the opportunity to showcase their school spirit on a unified digital platform.
The CEO and Co-Founder of Brag House, Lavell Juan Malloy II, emphasized that this initiative is part of the company’s ‘Culture to Capital’ strategy, leveraging the excitement surrounding college bowl season. By partnering with Learfield and Florida Gators Athletics, Brag House aims to provide students with a platform to actively engage, compete, and demonstrate their school pride rather than passively observing from the sidelines.
The Brag Gators® Gauntlet aligns with Brag House’s vision of revolutionizing digital sports entertainment for Gen Z by combining the enthusiasm of college sports with modern gaming infrastructure. Beyond just a tournament, this series creates new opportunities for college athletes through NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) by offering them a stage to engage with fans directly. This approach allows players to expand their reach, strengthen fan connections, and enhance their personal brands across digital platforms. Additionally, universities and brand partners benefit from engagement rewards and insights that extend beyond the tournament, helping them measure impact and build lasting relationships with fans.
The tournament features student-athletes competing in the Brag Gators® Gauntlet: Football Edition for $3,000 in cash prizes based on specific performance metrics. Spectators can also win prizes, including over $2,000 in Dogecoin. By integrating Dogecoin as a redemption option, the tournament aims to introduce students to the broader Dogecoin ecosystem, allowing in-app rewards to be converted into an on-chain asset. This connection between school pride, tournament success, and an active digital currency encourages student participation and involvement in the Dogecoin community.
The tournament’s structure enables brands and universities to position the event as more than just a one-time competition. After redeeming rewards in Dogecoin, students can continue engaging with the digital asset, enabling ongoing value and participation in Dogecoin-enabled experiences. This approach ensures that prize winners can see their accomplishments reflected in a persistent digital asset, connecting them with a broader online community beyond the tournament.
The CEO of House of Doge, Marco Margiotta, highlighted the significant impact of meaningful prizes in Dogecoin, noting that the integration of Dogecoin in tournaments like the Brag Gators® Gauntlet transforms every significant play into an opportunity for culture, competition, and community to intersect. These initiatives reflect a broader movement where fans, gamers, and holders can share in the collective excitement beyond the confines of game day.
Lavell Malloy underscored that the focus is on creating a closed-loop economy of engagement rather than just hosting tournaments. This approach allows athletes to interact with fans, universities to mobilize their communities, and students to leverage their social influence for tangible rewards, ultimately modernizing the college sports experience.
Participation in the tournament is open to current students from several universities, and plans are in place to expand the Gauntlet to additional campuses in 2026. The collaboration between Brag House and Learfield seeks to establish a sustainable, fan-driven digital platform bridging college athletics with interactive engagement.
