Auradine secures $153m in funding for Bitcoin and AI infrastructure startup

Auradine, a startup specializing in Bitcoin mining and AI infrastructure, recently closed a successful Series C funding round, raising an impressive $153 million. The funding was led by StepStone Group and included prominent participants such as Bitcoin miner MARA, Maverick Silicon, Qualcomm Ventures, and Samsung Catalyst Fund. This funding round has brought Auradine’s total raised capital to over $300 million.
The Silicon Valley-based company also introduced a new business unit called AuraLinks AI along with the funding announcement. The AuraLinks AI division will concentrate on providing open-standards-based networking solutions to meet the growing demands for bandwidth and cooling in next-generation AI data centers. Rajiv Khemani, Auradine’s co-founder, and CEO emphasized the importance of energy-efficient and scalable infrastructure solutions for both Bitcoin and AI applications. Khemani’s background includes a leadership role at networking startup Innovium and a prior position as COO at Cavium. Auradine recently welcomed Lip-Bu Tan to its board of directors in January 2025, who later went on to be appointed as the CEO of Intel in March of the same year.
